Hazel is more than a coffee bar — it’s your everyday escape, a living room in the heart of Haarlem where coffee creates community, and community creates coffee.

Rooted in the idea of the “third place” — not home, not work, but somewhere in between — Hazel offers a space to slow down, connect, and feel welcome. From warm ciabattas with rotating seasonal fillings (meat, veggie or fish), to cakes made by local home bakers topped with flowers, fruit and hazelnuts — everything here is fresh, personal, and made with care. We proudly serve our signature hazelnut latte, made with the Dutch hazelnut syrup from Veld 4 in Zoelen, and you could even buy a small bouquet of flowers when you take your coffee to go.
